I knitted myself 85% of a sweater. Maybe even 90%. It’s this Lush and Lacy Cardigan pattern, and I’m using a yarn I love. I had to size it up to make it in my size (the XXL was a 42 inch… WTF?) which required designing a larger lacy panel and changing all the cast on numbers, etc.
I’ve completed the back and fronts… seamed the shoulders, done the button bands and collar, and knit and set-in one of the sleeves… and… I don’t think I like the sweater. Maybe it’s a teeny bit TOO big, or maybe I just can’t figure out how to work the closures, but I have zero motivation to finish that last sleeve, except the motivation that I know that I’m SO close to being done. Oh well, it won’t be the first sweater I knit for myself and then never wear.
Perhaps I should stick with knitting for children.
[Pictures, soon. I'll need some direction on how to handle the button issue.]
