Previous post was about the deathly boring presidential debate earlier this week. Nothing terrible happened apart from learning that John McCain thinks everyone in Nashville is a close friend of his, and Barack Obama is unable to answer a direct question, or resist the need for follow-up.

I just want the election to be over, but I am wondering if I did the right thing in registering to vote in Texas. I probably could have stuck with my California registration which would have allowed me to vote on Prop 8, or I could have registered in Ohio, which has a significantly more interesting political landscape than Texas. Oh well, too late to change it anywhere anyway. Hopefully there will be some interesting local races to weight in on here.

I can’t sleep. Even after a drink at the pub. Annoying.
