So…. change of plans again – I rented a truck and a trailer to tow my car and I’m all packed up and ready to leave for Waco first thing in the morning. I’m excited… but feeling anxious about driving on my own.. the truck is no problem, but the trailer is a whole different story.

Anyway, the plan is to hopefully get to my new home by Thursday night, although I’ll probably have to sleep on the floor or something since I don’t think I’ll have the energy to unload the mattress. Maybe I’ll get a hotel. I’ve spent the last 24 hours gathering up furniture to move with me. I figured if I have a truck, I might as well fill it! So now I have 2 couches, a round dining room table, tons of chairs, 2 dressers, a cedar chest, a rocking chair…. my apartment is going to be full!

I bought some books on CD today. One novel, Freakanomics, and Total Money Makeover. Ha! And Patti is going to burn me some episodes of This American Life. I should be set with listening options.
